Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize thermal management systems for renewable energy applications through FEA simulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electrical and software components
- Develop detailed technical documentation including CAD models, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications
- Conduct prototype testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability standards
- Mentor junior engineers while implementing best practices in DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design with thermal systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record of bringing products from prototype to mass production
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic approach to root cause analysis
