Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic subsystems.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA) to create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and thermal analysis to ensure component durability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Manage rapid prototyping cycles and oversee design validation testing.
- Ensure designs meet all regulatory, quality, and industry-specific safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automotive sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD modeling and GD&T principles.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from design to full-scale production.
- Deep understanding of materials science, kinematics, and electro-mechanical integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage project timelines.
