Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle for high-precision robotic systems.
- Conduct advanced FEA and thermal simulations to optimize structural integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics and software into mechanical assemblies.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to ensure industry-leading standards.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and lead hands-on testing and validation cycles.
- Develop innovative engineering solutions to reduce production costs and improve system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in high-precision mechanical design or robotics.
- Expertise in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor is required.
- Proficiency in Ansys or similar simulation software for FEA/CFD.
- Deep understanding of GD&T standards and manufacturing processes (CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding).
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex mechanical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions across departments.
