Responsibilities
- Lead the full mechanical product lifecycle from conceptualization through prototyping to final production.
- Design complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and perform rigorous FEA simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineering, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analyses, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) assessments.
- Manage vendor relationships for custom component fabrication and sourcing.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior design engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in high-precision machine or robotic design.
- Expert-level proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong background in material selection, kinematics, and motion control systems.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding processes.
- Proven track record of taking complex projects from idea to market.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
