Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components for high-speed robotic systems.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to validate design performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage full-lifecycle projects from conceptualization through prototyping to final production.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review internal designs for compliance with industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design, specifically in robotics or precision machinery.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection for high-performance applications.
- Proven track record of taking complex designs from concept to market-ready product.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
