Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex mechanical assemblies for robotic systems using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Conduct rigorous FEA and thermal analysis to ensure structural integrity under dynamic loads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics and software into mechanical frameworks.
- Oversee rapid prototyping and coordinate with manufacturing partners for production readiness.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and peer review.
- Lead root-cause analysis sessions for product performance optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and GD&T standards.
- Proven track record of designing high-precision moving parts or automation equipment.
- Hands-on experience with machining, 3D printing, and injection molding processes.
- Strong understanding of material science and mechanical stress analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-engineers.
