Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design for electric vehicle powertrain components
- Develop and optimize CAD models using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing
- Drive DFM initiatives for mass production feasibility
- Mentor junior engineers and design standards implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in automotive or high-precision manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks/CATIA with PMP certification
- Advanced knowledge of FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Experience with material science and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills
- Fluent English and German language proficiency
