Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design lifecycle from conceptual phase to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed 3D models and precise engineering drawings.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and kinematic analysis to ensure structural integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and software teams for seamless hardware-software integration.
- Manage design validation through rigorous prototype testing and iteration cycles.
- Mentor junior engineers while upholding high standards for technical documentation and compliance.
- Optimize component selection to balance cost, performance, and manufacturing feasibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in robotics or precision electromechanical design.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing for high-precision manufacturing (machining, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material science.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and sensor integration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical project roadmaps.
