In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of high-precision robotic actuators and structural components, pushing the boundaries of mechanical reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic subsystems from concept through mass production.
- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and thermal optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics and software engineering, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and DFM/DFA processes to improve product reliability and manufacturing yield.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in CAD standards and documentation.
- Select and qualify vendors for custom machined and injection-molded components.
- Oversee rapid prototyping cycles and testing protocols in our state-of-the-art laboratory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in precision mechanical design.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or NX preferred).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, casting).
- Proven track record of taking complex electromechanical assemblies from prototype to market.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a mindset geared towards scalable design.
- Experience with motion control systems or robotics is highly desirable.
