Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation to production release using CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA)
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations for structural integrity and thermal optimization
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement DFM/DFA principles and reduce production costs
  • Develop comprehensive test protocols and oversee validation of prototypes in controlled lab environments
  • Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Research and integrate novel materials and manufacturing techniques for performance enhancement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical design with aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
