Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies from conceptualization through to production.
- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and firmware engineers, to integrate mechatronic systems.
- Manage the creation of detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Oversee rapid prototyping efforts, including 3D printing and CNC machining workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design efficiency and manufacturing costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within robotics or aerospace.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
- Strong background in GD&T and Tolerance Analysis for precision components.
- Proven track record of taking products from design inception through to mass production.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
