Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle mechanical design process for high-precision robotic components from concept to production.
- Perform advanced stress, thermal, and dynamic FEA simulations to ensure component reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate complex sub-systems.
- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks with a focus on DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis on design failures and implement robust engineering improvements.
- Oversee prototype assembly and bench testing to validate design specifications against functional requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in mechanical drafting and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing parts for CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with electromechanical integration and cable management systems.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a bias for action and technical excellence.
