Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to prototyping using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop and optimize high-performance components for automotive and aerospace applications
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation processes in our ISO-certified lab
- Generate detailed technical documentation and engineering change orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and simulation software
- Proven track record in product development for automotive/aerospace sectors
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material science
- Experience with mechatronics integration and embedded systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with Six Sigma/DFMEA methodologies
- Ability to lead projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
