Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of new products and prototypes from concept to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) to create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings compliant with GD&T standards.
- Conduct stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and optimize performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Oversee the prototyping process and validate designs through rigorous testing and failure analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding), and GD&T.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
