Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle mechanical design of robotic end-effectors and structural assemblies.
- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and control systems engineers.
- Drive CAD-to-CAM workflows to ensure seamless manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Manage design documentation, BOM development, and technical specifications for mass production.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee prototype testing, validation, and field-trial performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX).
- Demonstrated expertise in FEA and thermal analysis simulation tools.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material science.
- Experience with motion control systems, gearboxes, and precision linkage design.
- Proven track record of taking complex electro-mechanical products to market.
