Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic arm assemblies and end-effectors.
- Execute complex 3D CAD modeling and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and optimize material usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and actuators.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Develop technical specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) for production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine precision and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in precision mechanical design or robotics.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo) and PDM systems.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, casting).
- Proven track record of designing high-tolerance, high-cycle electromechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative approach to engineering challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment.
