Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex electromechanical systems using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Conduct detailed stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS or Abaqus to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Develop and maintain detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs), design documentation, and technical specifications.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to ensure performance meets or exceeds technical requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of GD&T standards, tolerance stacks, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
