Responsibilities
- Lead CAD/CAE development of high-performance engine components using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Design and validate thermal management systems for EV battery packs
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and fluid dynamics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype testing and validation
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Develop manufacturing processes for cost-effective production
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + 8+ years experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CATIA
- Proven track record in powertrain or EV system design
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack analysis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards (SAE, ISO)
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
