Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to prototyping using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop thermal management systems for advanced energy storage solutions
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize product performance and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and implement design-for-manufacturing principles
- Manage project timelines and resources within Agile frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design with focus on thermal systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)
- Proven track record in bringing complex products from concept to production
- Strong understanding of DOE, DFM, and DFMEA methodologies
- Experience with CAD/CAM integration and rapid prototyping
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
