Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems, from conceptualization to high-volume manufacturing.
- Utilize SolidWorks and FEA tools to perform rigorous stress and thermal analysis on critical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage the technical oversight of prototyping cycles and iterative testing phases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentoring junior engineers through design reviews and technical guidance to foster team growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within robotics or automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong background in GD&T standards and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Proven track record of taking complex products through the full product development lifecycle (PDLC).
- Comprehensive knowledge of material selection, machining processes, and injection molding.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive consensus across engineering teams.
