Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies for robotic automation systems.
- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics to ensure structural reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation phases to meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the refinement of internal design methodologies.
- Source and qualify high-performance materials and components to optimize cost and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in high-precision mechanical design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of managing projects from concept through to production.
- Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in simulation software like Ansys.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions in a fast-paced environment.
