Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems from conceptualization to production.
- Perform advanced stress and thermal analysis using FEA to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage the creation of detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Oversee rapid prototyping efforts and conduct rigorous design validation and testing.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review design documentation for quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Proven track record of taking complex products from design phase to mass production.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
