Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to optimize product performance
- Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Research and implement advanced materials and manufacturing techniques
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA methodologies
- Experience with sheet metal, injection molding, and CNC machining processes
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or active pursuit required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
