Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Perform FEA simulations and thermal analysis for structural optimization
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and tolerance specifications
- Collaborate with prototype teams for rapid iteration and validation
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews with production partners
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with clients to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)
- Proven track record in product development lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Experience with additive manufacturing and hybrid production methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical documentation abilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
