Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to prototyping using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed manufacturing documentation and collaborate with production teams
- Research and integrate novel materials and manufacturing processes
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and aerospace regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace/automotive sectors
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM principles
- Certification in ASME Y14.5 or equivalent
- Proven track record with complex system integration projects
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composite materials
