You will be instrumental in taking products from concept through to full-scale production, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and FEA analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and software components.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Perform structural and thermal simulations to ensure product reliability under stress.
- Manage the selection of materials and manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding).
- Oversee rapid prototyping cycles and iterative design improvements.
- Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to global regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in robotics or precision mechanical design.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and PDM systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances.
- Proven track record of taking complex hardware products from prototype to launch.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with motion control systems and high-precision gearboxes.
