Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to prototype validation
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural analysis and thermal optimization
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging materials and technologies for product innovation
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA with PMP certification
- Proven track record in FEA/CFD analysis using ANSYS or Abaqus
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5 standards, and tolerance analysis
- Experience with automotive or aerospace manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex engineering challenges
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
