Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for next-gen energy systems
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed BOMs and manufacturing documentation for production partners
- Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design processes
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype testing and validation cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Proven track record in product development from concept to production
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ASME standards
- Strong analytical skills with DOE methodology experience
- Excellent communication and project management capabilities
- Renewable energy or HVAC systems background preferred
