Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design for EV powertrain components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed CAD models and production-ready technical documentation
- Collaborate with prototyping teams to validate designs and drive continuous improvement
- Mentor junior engineers and implement DFM/DFA best practices
- Interface with suppliers to source components and ensure quality compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in automotive or mobility product development
- Experience with electric vehicle systems (batteries, motors, power electronics)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
