Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Lead cross-functional teams from concept to prototyping
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for performance validation
- Collaborate with suppliers on component manufacturing processes
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and test plans
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in automotive/industrial product development
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven project management experience with PMP certification
- Experience with additive manufacturing and materials science
