Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Lead cross-functional projects from prototyping to mass production
- Conduct FEA simulations and optimize thermal/fluid dynamics
- Mentor junior engineers and drive design innovation workshops
- Ensure compliance with ASME and ISO 9001 standards
- Develop test protocols and analyze performance data
- Collaborate with suppliers on precision manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing
- Proven project leadership with PMP certification preferred
- Experience with DFMEA and tolerance analysis
- Excellent problem-solving with Six Sigma background
