Responsibilities
- Lead the design and prototyping of mechanical components using CAD/CAM tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation for performance validation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative engineering solutions
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Oversee product testing cycles and implement design improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and automotive industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent CAD software
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Certification in FEA (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) preferred
- Experience with automotive systems or heavy machinery design
- Demonstrated project management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
