Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product design from concept to production
- Develop and validate CAD models using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material selection and prototyping
- Create detailed technical documentation and manufacturing drawings
- Mentor junior engineers and drive design excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in mechanical product design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA
- Strong FEA/CFD simulation experience (ANSYS/Abaqus)
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven project leadership with PMP certification
- Experience in aerospace or medical device manufacturing
