Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for next-generation consumer electronics and industrial equipment.
- Utilize advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) to create detailed 3D models and precise 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity under various operational conditions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
- Oversee prototyping phases, including 3D printing and injection molding, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Optimize existing product designs to improve durability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
