Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA/CFD analysis for structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with test engineers to validate prototypes and optimize designs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive design best practices
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of aerospace or high-performance product design experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Experience with composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
