Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design for aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop manufacturing processes with DFM principles for precision components
- Mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with clients to translate technical requirements into engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in mechanical design with aerospace/defense experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, NX)
- Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
- PMP or PE certification highly desirable
- Proven track record in high-volume product development
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
