Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design lifecycle of complex robotic assemblies from initial concept to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks/NX) to create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and kinematic analysis to ensure structural integrity and operational precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate actuators, sensors, and structural components.
- Oversee rapid prototyping and coordinate with vendors to ensure component quality and DFM standards.
- Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate product performance under diverse environmental conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, specifically in robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
- Expertise in SolidWorks or Siemens NX with a deep understanding of GD&T standards.
- Proven track record of designing high-precision mechanisms and complex sub-assemblies.
- Strong background in material selection, heat treatment, and mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a commitment to design for manufacturability (DFM).
