Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis for structural integrity and thermal optimization
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing/validation protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and drive design for manufacturing excellence
- Collaborate with R&D to implement advanced materials and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-volume manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS/Abaqus
- Proven track record of leading complex product development cycles
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and GD&T
- Experience with composites, aluminum, and titanium fabrication
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
