Responsibilities

  • Architect and design complex mechanical assemblies for robotic systems from initial concept to mass production.
  • Conduct detailed FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity and optimize performance under load.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and manufacturing engineering, to integrate sub-systems seamlessly.
  • Select and specify materials, fasteners, and standard components based on mechanical requirements and cost-efficiency.
  • Create and manage comprehensive 3D CAD models, detailed assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

Qualifications

  • Strong background in GD&T and ISO/ASME design standards.
  • Proven expertise in manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
