Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA simulations and structural analysis for performance optimization
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications per AS9100 standards
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype, test, and validate new technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- AS9100 certification or equivalent quality management experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
