Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex electro-mechanical assemblies from concept through production.
- Utilize advanced CAD modeling and simulation tools to optimize components for strength, weight, and manufacturability.
- Perform detailed FEA and thermal analysis to ensure system reliability under rigorous operational demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and firmware engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage technical documentation, including BOMs, engineering drawings, and design specifications.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing phases to validate design performance against project requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in CAD architecture and design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-precision electro-mechanical systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from R&D to full-scale manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and DFM/DFA principles.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and robotics sensors is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
