Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance optimization
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with materials science team for composite material integration
- Conduct prototype testing and validation in advanced R&D labs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years aerospace experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record in aircraft propulsion system design
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and FAA certification standards
- Experience with additive manufacturing for aerospace applications
- PMP or PE certification preferred
