Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation to production release
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal performance optimization
- Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to enhance manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Interface with suppliers to source specialized components and materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks/CATIA with complex assembly modeling
- Strong analytical skills in FEA (ANSYS) and thermal management systems
- Experience with automotive powertrain or EV battery systems preferred
- Proven track record of DFM implementation in high-volume manufacturing
- PMP or Six Sigma certification highly desirable
