Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies for robotic automation systems.
- Perform structural and thermal FEA analysis to ensure component reliability under high stress.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee the transition of prototypes into mass production, including DFM/DFA optimization.
- Manage technical documentation, BOM creation, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in mechanical CAD modeling.
- Conduct design reviews and validation testing to meet performance and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing high-precision moving parts or robotics systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, Injection Molding, 3D Printing).
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
