Apex Robotics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our next generation of high-precision robotic assembly platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex theoretical concepts and real-world manufacturing applications in the heart of the automotive hub.

Responsibilities
- Lead the full product lifecycle from conceptual design to prototype validation and mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD modeling (SolidWorks/CATIA) to design complex mechanical assemblies and components.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and thermal analysis to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.
- Select and specify materials and manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct rigorous design reviews.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and testing protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in machine design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing standards.
- Proven track record of taking complex mechanical systems from concept to launch.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and sensor integration is highly desired.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership communication skills.
