Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Develop detailed CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with prototyping team for rapid iteration and validation
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
- Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to reduce production cycle times
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in mechanical design for complex systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA
- Proven FEA/CFD simulation experience (ANSYS preferred)
- Strong GD&T and tolerance analysis expertise
- Experience with materials selection and prototyping processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
