Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop and optimize aerospace components for weight reduction and performance
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototyping and testing
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace/automotive
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards
- Proven track record in material selection and manufacturing processes
- Certification in PMP or Six Sigma a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
