Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA/CFD analysis and physical testing
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and GD&T specifications
- Coordinate with suppliers to optimize material selection and production processes
- Drive compliance with FAA/EASA certification standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review design documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years aerospace experience
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks/CATIA) and FEA tools
- Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes
- Certification in ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Experience with aerospace certification documentation (FAA Part 25)
- Proven project leadership in cross-functional environments
