You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, taking products from conceptual design through prototyping and final production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design lifecycle of complex robotic assemblies and automated systems.
- Perform advanced stress, thermal, and kinematic analysis to ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.
- Manage CAD data structures and documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain quality excellence.
- Oversee rapid prototyping efforts and coordinate with vendors for component procurement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-precision mechanical design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or PTC Creo.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Demonstrated experience in FEA/CFD simulation software (ANSYS or similar).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholder needs.
- Track record of bringing innovative products from concept to market.
