In this role, you will take ownership of the mechanical lifecycle, from initial conceptual design to prototype validation and final mass production.

Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of robotic sub-assemblies and complete automated systems.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA) to create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform structural and thermal FEA simulations to ensure component reliability under high-load conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and controls engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage the transition of designs from prototype phase to full-scale production, including BOM management and GD&T specification.
- Conduct design reviews and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to maintain top-tier safety and performance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous technical improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design or machine design.
- Expert-level proficiency in 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks certification is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience in FEA/CFD analysis and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, casting).
- Proven track record of managing product design cycles from concept to market.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
